‘Much love and care has gone into the restoration of the house, with special thoughtful touches. We especially loved the terrace and the pool and the children all loved it.’

Le Cayla is a charming, lovingly restored private house standing in its own grounds of 20 acres and it forms part of the tiny hamlet of St Etienne de Vionan near the pretty little medieval town of Lisle-sur-Tarn.

The market town of Gaillac is 10 km away in the centre of this well-known wine-producing area in the lush green valley of the Tarn, one of France’s loveliest regions. Gaillac lies midway between the beautiful, history-steeped cities of Toulouse and Albi.

The house has recently been completely renovated to a very high standard and a marvellous large swimming pool has been built. Le Cayla contains all that one might need for a relaxing holiday, far from the madding crowd. Here you truly are in the heart of rural France – la France profonde. Le Cayla will accommodate 8 people in real comfort.
